Images and PDFs
Images and PDFs are content items, so you can edit their details and see where they are used.
Find an image or PDF
The media library shows your files as items you can open. Choose a file to see its details or select the upload area to add one.
Add images and PDFs to the library
Add files to the upload queue, check their names and destination, then approve the files you want to upload. An upload finishing does not by itself save or publish the media item.
Resolve a duplicate before uploading
When a file matches one already in the library, compare the two files. You can use the existing file, upload a replacement or add the upload as a new version, depending on the available options.
Edit an image's details
The image editor includes alternative text. Describe what the image conveys when it adds meaning to the page.
Edit a PDF's details
The processing message tells you whether an optimized PDF is ready or the original file is being used. You can edit its title and other available details here.
See where a file is used
The usage view lists content items that refer to the selected file. Check these references before replacing or archiving a file that may appear in more than one place.
